Preface
In Spring 2013, the format of the anatomy module of the Part 1 FRCR examinationwas changed. Previously, the examination consisted of 75 images, each with 5 questions relating to the normal anatomy being demonstrated. The questions typically asked the candidate to name the normal structures being pointed at. Now there are 100 images, each with 1 question corresponding to the image. As before, the candidate is typically asked to name a structure that has been labelled or to describe the normal variant demonstrated in the image.
Having taken the newexamination whilst using revisionmaterial aimed at the old format,we realised that the approach to answering the questions is different and therefore an up-to-date revision aid to reflect this would be beneficial to the next cohort of candidates.
